TEACHING ARTIST
“The only purpose for mastering technique is to make sure the body does not prevent the soul from expressing itself.” - La Meri
As an educator, my work is shaped by a deep understanding of what it means to exist in spaces that were not built for me—and the radical joy of claiming those spaces anyway. Acting is not just about technique; it is about discovery, resilience, and the power of embodiment. Too often, traditional training upholds structures that limit the full expression of diverse voices. I, instead, lead and cultivate a space where actors can play freely, trust their instincts, and engage with the work in ways that honor their lived experiences. Play is not an indulgence—it is a necessity. It is my belief that through play actors access their most authentic selves, break through creative barriers, and can begin to unlock the full depth of their artistry. My mission is to help actors move into a space of curiosity, agency, and joy.
